Context
Boxbollen connects a training ball to a mobile app for games, training and competitions. The app has 350,000 daily active users. Features such as chat, tournaments and promoted content span the app, backend services and admin tools.
Role
I owned delivery across the Flutter app, backend, data, APIs, admin tools, CI/CD and test automation. I worked on product features and the systems needed to operate and release them.
Work
I built global and direct chat with message requests, reactions, read receipts, typing indicators and moderation. I delivered battles and tournaments, plus a promoted-content system with campaign settings and performance tracking. I also built native FFmpeg libraries for local media processing and updated Android libraries for the 16 KB page-size requirement.
